Recently my family was given the opportunity to visit Arizona Legoland and the Sea Life Aquarium. This was such a fun day for my little family of five. These attractions are at Arizona Mills which is a HUGE mall just south of Phoenix. It’s a perfect place to grab a bite and have a day of fun.
My kiddos are three, five and eight, so the perfect ages for both attractions. We grabbed lunch in the mall. Pro tip: if you want to eat at Rainforest Cafe, make reservations to avoid the long line. After lunch we headed out to Legoland to start the day. My kids loved the mini Arizona models and all of the interactive features. Then you enter the big room with a ton of different activities. There are two rides for kids and adults and there are so many things for kids to touch and play with.
My kiddos loved the 4D movie which was short and sweet and the perfect length for smaller kids. Then there were different ways for the kids to build with legos, as well as a build and test station. Of course Legoland wouldn’t be complete without a Lego store at the end with so many building kits.
Next we hopped right across the corridor to the Sea Life Aquarium. Wow. Who knew that all of this would be found inside of a mall. We were able to see and explore so many exhibits. My kids loved the touchpool and all the little pop-ups which allowed my kids to be a part of the exhibits.
The glass tunnel was probably our favorite part of the whole aquarium. Standing in a glass tunnel watching sharks and sea turtles and all the fish swim by was so magical.
This is the perfect day for a family. I would say that each attraction, Legoland and Sea Life can be done in 2-3 hours. Its a great activity for both in a day or different days. I think the best bet would be to get a two park pass, especially to keep littles busy in the hot days of summer coming up.
Thanks for the invite Legoland and Sea Life!
