I came across this great website (KidsEatFor.com) that lists a ton of restaurants in Phoenix and surrounding cities that offer free (or cheap) kids meals with each purchase of an adult meal. I have three kids to buy meals for, so this is a life-saver. The website breaks down the list by day of the week since some restaurants only offer the deal on certain days and by location. Tip: Call ahead to confirm that the deal has not changed before you head out the door.
After checking out the website, I decided to visit two kids-eat-free restaurants in our area. . .
First, I checked out The Spotted Donkey Cantina. I didn’t expect this would be a kid-friendly restaurant, but am so excited to have found it! It is somewhat rare to have a place where you can get a decent meal and where they are “encouraging” you to bring your children at the same time. The kids’ meal is pretty good and includes a special treat that won my kids over. Also, on Friday and Saturday nights they have a Mariachi Band… how fun is that?
Next, I took the kids to NYPD Pizza on Scottsdale and Shea for their Wednesday Kids Eat Free Deal. My friend and I brought our SEVEN kids between the two of us. Luckily, we came early for dinner and had good company from other families who also brought kids for a free meal. Our kids ate well from the choices of macaroni and cheese, pizza and pasta. The deal was a real treat since the kids’ meal does come with a drink and an ice cream sundae. (Make sure you ask for the deal and the sundae included, or one or both may be forgotten.)
I will continue to use this website to find other restaurants in our area with Kids Eat Free Deals because you can’t beat free food!
Do you have a favorite kid-friendly restaurant you love to go to with your family? How you found other restaurants with great Kids-Eat-Free deals?
