Remember that song about Santa that goes…?
“Who wears boots and a suit of red?“
These days we can sing,
“Who takes reservations and drives a high powered sled?“
Santa Claus has adapted well to the times with a fully interactive experience that gives us a glimpse into how things operate up north.
I took my little boys (two of Santa’s biggest fans) to Santa’s HQ at Scottsdale Fashion Square to visit with the jolly old and was surprised to find out how high-tech that operation is in the North Pole. Did you know that in addition the reindeer power, Santa’s sled is equipped with TWO turbo jet engines and has an in-flight navigation system? We learned that fascinating fact inside the control center where the elves actually let us operate the system! The lights & sounds and gadgets & gizmos were a full sensory experience. The elves even had special iPads that let us peek into the magical hiding place where all the gifts are stored.
We each took a turn at the Naughty-or-Nice ‘O Meter and we are very pleased to report that we all made it to the Nice List. Although, truth be told, I barely made it over the mid-way mark. But hey, at least I was in the green! Even my almost two-year-old made the nice list!
It’s so great that you can make a reservation online HERE to spend less time in line. Keep in mind that in order to secure a reservation, a photo package must be purchased and paid for with a credit card at the time of booking. Kiddos big & small can get even more out of the interactive experience by downloading the Elf-Ray Vision app to your mobile device before arriving and join Santa’s elf pals as they take you on a newly-enhanced journey throughout Santa HQ! Visiting Santa at the HQ was truly a fun experience that our family will look forward to each year!
