Top 3….AZ (October 2021)

In this series we’ll tell you about the top 3 new things we’re loving in AZ. New places and activities are popping up around town all the time. Follow along for new restaurants, recipes, experiences and other things you’re sure to love.

1) One of our favorite October activities is visiting the Haunted Graveyard in central Scottsdale. Some tips for your visit…..

• The haunted house is really scary with characters who will approach you. But they do offer 2 days a year with no scary characters. So you can visit without the super scary aspect.

• Your visit is free, but a donation is requested.

• Parking can be brutal. Arrive early to get a close spot otherwise plan on a bit of a walk. 

2) Roka Akor is a Japanese steakhouse with sushi and delicious cocktails. We got to try the restaurant and really loved the ambiance and the menu. We highly recommend the Pork Belly hot appetizer and Hamachi Serrano Chili Sushi Roll. Everything we tried was all delicious and created a lovely evening for us to enjoy a night out.

3) The Pinners conference is in a few weeks and now is a great time to text your friends and get your tickets. With the holidays right around the corner, it is the perfect chance to get some new ideas for holiday decor and presents for friends and family!

We have so many other things to do and restaurants on our must try list for next month’s Top 3, but we are always looking for new places to add so please comment below if you know of a place we should visit.
