Financial Peace University Classes Start Soon!

If there is one thing that can throw any family into a pile of stress complete with yelling and naughty words, it’s heated conversations about money! Or, the lack thereof.  I’ve known about Dave Ramsey and his life-changing personal finance strategies since I was a wee lass walking through the halls of The University of Tennessee. This Tennessee-based personal finance guru hit the mainstream in a big way when the financial crisis of 2008 hit and everyone started looking for ways to live on less or at least get out of the mess they found themselves.

He talks about being debt free, paying off ALL debt (including student loans) and even buying your home for CASH! In our home, he’s a hero and yes, we aspire to live the way he teaches because, well, it just works.

Seriously, we have conversations about how we can buy a home and pay it off in the least amount of time. It seems insane, but people actually do this. (Check out SimpleMom.net for someone who is living this dream.)

We are thrilled to announce that Dave Ramsey’s Financial Peace University is being offered starting September 22, 2012  in Old Town Scottsdale! This life-changing class taught by Dave Ramsey and the FPU teaching team on video and coordinated by Kevin Cherrick at Cactus CrossFit in Scottsdale, AZ will help you achieve your financial goals by showing you how to eliminate debt, save for the future, and give like never before. You will be challenged and motivated to make a plan for your money and change your family tree forever. Dave Ramsey is a Christian and uses biblical principals when discussing how you can do “plastic surgery” on your credit line.
