Char Kitchen & Bar provided us to a tasting to try out their amazing food, all opinions expressed are our own.
The family behind my favorite Scottsdale restaurant, Perk Eatery, opened a new restaurant. It is called Char Kitchen + Bar and it is located in mid-town Scottsdale at the Hilton Village shopping center.
Char is an upscale restaurant which specializes in authentic Mediterranean and East European flavors. A couple of us at SMB were invited to attend a tasting at Char. Each course that we tried was so flavorful. They did not disappoint on taste or variety of menu options.
The Chicken Lollis with pomegranate BBQ sauce is delicious. The house made hummus and tzatziki is great with everything on the Mezze Platter. Their Lamb Burger with tomato chutney and feta was juicy and such a unique twist on the classic American dish.
My favorite was the Grilled Pork Chop with the most amazing cherries to balance the rich flavors from the pork. Yum!
We are so lucky to have this new concept restaurant located in Scottsdale. We will be back soon and we hope you will try it too!
