Four Things You Might Not Know About Target

Target

Is it me or has Target become the modern-day mom’s sanctuary? Target was the first place I went to after my first baby was born and it led to so many emotions. Anxiety with leaving the baby yet a sense of freedom to leave the house alone all at once. In fact, I feel that “freedom” every time I get to step foot in that place each time I get some alone time. I know I am one of a million moms who always end up doing laps at target while piling on items that we never really need. Lately I have been hearing of some little secrets about Target that I have to share!

  1. Cat and Jack– Did you know that you can save all of your cat and jack clothes and exchange at any time? Yep! Even if the clothes are a few years old. You can take them in and exchange for a new size and they will accept the old clothes back. No receipt required.

I did hear that clothes do need to be in a decent shape for them to accept.

  1. Sales Price– If you buy something at full price and realize a week or so later that it has gone on sale, you can take the receipt back and they will give you back the difference!
  2. Drive up– I recently learned that some products are A LOT cheaper if you choose to purchase online and do drive up pick up. I was looking for a toy the other day on my phone before going in, and added it to my cart. I then decided to go inside the store to grab it instead and saw that it was almost $20 more in the store! I did show the clerk at check out and he did end up price matching. I ALWAYS check now what they list items for at the drive up vs. store when shopping now.
  3. You can order Starbucks to your curb side pickup window! I have seen a lot of people talk about this. In your Target app, push on my way to pick up your items there should be an option to add a Starbucks order! This is one of the top requests from a Target Feedback Survey!

I hope these little tricks can save you some time and money this Holiday season!

  1. The Cat & Jack return policy is “guaranteed for 1 year and with a receipt.” 🙂 It’s helpful that if you have a redcard, the in store and online receipts are saved in your account.

I love # 3 with the in store/app price match, but I’ve also experienced the opposite. A bottle of Scotchgard was $7.99 when I ordered it online for curbside – when I grabbed the same item in store, it was below $5 (not on sale).
