Celebrate this day by letting the kiddos be in charge of dinner. From planning to execution, serving to cleaning. Getting kids involved in making meals is a great way to encourage them to develop this important life-skill and it can help to forge stronger family bonds. When children take an active part in their family mealtimes, they not only learn to eat healthier. Mealtime is a social activity. We learn about each others’ days and take an interest in each others’ lives. Mealtimes are enormously productive when we work together and enjoy together as families.
