Children in our classrooms are active participants in the learning process through an approach known as Emergent Curriculum. This is a way of planning based on children’s natural curiosity and interests.

Global Minds is a weekday preschool that also operates as an after school language learning facility for children in grades K-12th.   In our preschool program, our experienced, caring teachers primarily focus on speaking Chinese, Spanish or French since it is the natural first component of any language. Through demonstration, repetition, group, individual and interactive play, Global Minds makes becoming bilingual an easy, fun, and playful experience!

Shepherd of the Desert Preschool is a non-profit, Christian preschool supported by Shepherd of the Desert Lutheran Church.  Our mission at Shepherd of the Desert Preschool is to lead people to follow Jesus and provide the premier Christian educational experience focused on advancing academics for children.

Our preschool program nurtures each child’s natural curiosity, intelligence and interests, while developing their Jewish identity. We are accredited to care for children ages 6 weeks to Pre-K and provide specialty and academic enrichment classes. With low ratios and personal attention, your child will thrive.

Our school allows students to make connections across the curriculum in order to unify and deepen their learning experience and understanding. Scottsdale Child Care & Learning Centers has been providing quality and licensed day care and early childhood education to Scottsdale area families since 1994.
