Five Indoor Play Places in Scottsdale

The summer heat is approaching us quickly and it is getting less and less bearable to survive the park playdates. I gathered a few Scottsdale indoor play places that you can take the kids to stay cool these summer months.

indoor play places

KTR– KTR is a family favorite over here. It literally has something fun for the entire family. They have everything from trampolines, slides, obstacle courses, climbing, skating and everything active. My favorite part is their toddler zone created just for the little kids, so they do not get tangled in the older kid commotion. They offer toddler time for just $10 from 9am-12pm Tuesday-Thursday.

Café Au Plait– This cute little coffee shop is located up in North Scottsdale. They have a huge play area for kids, arts and crafts, board games, and live music Friday mornings. Parents can sip on iced coffee, Italian sodas, or a morning smoothly. They offer meals for both breakfast and lunch and plenty of snacks.

AZ on the Rocks– Take your adventures upwards! This is a fun rock-climbing place that is a great activity for kids and adults! It is geared more for an older kid due to the liability and physical requirements. They have walls and walls of different rock-climbing obstacles, ninja like courses and even a yoga studio!

Imagine 3D Mini Golf– This is very centrally located right near Talking stick! Enjoy 18 holes of glow in the dark mini golf! Add a fun twist… bring highlighters for the kids to decorate their bodies with and see the pictures glow in the dark inside!

Open play Gymnastics– One of our favorites! A few local gymnastic gyms are open for “free play” several days of the week. Kids are able to use the full facility from trampolines, uneven bars and even plunge into the famous foam pit! Another activity great for MOST ages and some even offer parents night out!

Here is a list of a few Scottsdale gyms that offer open play for the public:

REBOUND WEST– Starting in June, Rebound will have open play starting at 11:30am every Saturday. This is for children 5 years and younger. Cost is $10 and does require pre registration.

XTREME GYMNASTICS– Every Monday-Thursday, Xtreme Gymnastics has a “play with me” parent child play time from 10:30am-11:30am. Pricing for member is $7 and $10 for non-members. This is offered for kids ages 10 months – 6 years.
