Thank you, Zulily for partnering with us on this post!

Have you ever wondered when is the best time to shop for kids? As we try to plan our budgets and keep up with how quickly our kids are growing, a little planning can help.

Zulily has put together a complete trend roadmap for you. Zulily just released their Best Time to Shop for Kids Trend Report. Whether your kiddos need summer and camping must-haves, or formal wear for the upcoming busy fall holiday season, Zulily’s got you covered.

Zulily has surveyed 1,600 millennial moms with children under the age of 12 and studied a year’s worth of sales data. Be sure to bookmark this article to keep handy for planning!

Here are a few sneak peeks at their advice:

Their report includes fresh and unique data. As a new generation of moms buys for their children, the industry and trends change to fit what they want for their kids.

Do you wonder what new kid’s clothing trends they found?

  • 29% of millennial moms buy sporty clothes for their kids? Hopefully, that means that moms are opting for outside time over screen time! Or maybe we have all just gotten a little more comfortable being casual.
  • If you asked me when most baby gear purchases are made, I would have said the spring. My five little ones were born in February, April, and May. The most popular birth month is now September, with December as the largest baby gear purchasing month. Zulily recommends purchasing in November to beat the rush.

And on a personal note, if you haven’t shopped at Zulily yet, you really should give it a try! You can find almost anything for anyone in your family. I found all of my teacher appreciation presents there last year. I also bought crafts for Christmas break. I keep them tucked away in a closet and pull them out whenever the kids need a little distraction or when I need to cook! If you keep your eyes peeled, they also have amazing sales on Lego sets. I always stock up on these for my nephews whenever their sales happen.
