Date Night | Happy Hour in Old Town Scottsdale

2

If you’ve ever walked the streets of Old Town Scottsdale, you know there are a tantalizing number of restaurants from which to choose. And new ones popping up all the time. So, where do you start?

We love happy hour because 1) the affordable menu (be careful not to get caught in over ordering or your bill will be just as pricey as a regular dinner — been there, done that!) and 2) the curfew (we have an earlier curfew than pre-baby days so it helps us to be home after a quick family date night).  Here are a few, wonderful, happy hours in Old Town Scottsdale:

P.F. Chang’s, The Waterfront – Who doesn’t love a good egg roll? Offering Happy Hour 3-6pm, daily, P.F. Chang’s patio seating looks onto the Waterfront Canal. The menu is broken down by pricing to fit your budget! Fill your tummy with their famous lettuce wraps and finger licking ribs!

Cien Agaves – Cien Agaves offers an interesting twist to their happy hour by offering Margarita Mondays ($6 Margaritas) and Taco Tuesdays ($3 shredded beef tacos and $3 Tecate beer). Don’t fill up on those tasty chips and salsa just yet. The tacos are delectable! They also offer Happy Hour options everyday from 3-6:30PM.

Café Zuzu – This eclectic and fun atmosphere sits insides the Valley Ho. A landmark of hotels here in the heart of Old Town offers Happy Hour with $6-$7 bites and $5 drinks every Sunday through Wednesday from 4-6PM.

Diego Pops – We really love the food here and the patio can’t be beat. Their variety of tacos and the ceviche is delicious. Happy Hour is offered everyday with 1/2 price appetizers and $5 margaritas.

Montauk – Happy Hour is offered Tuesday through Thursday from 3-6:00PM. They offer a ton of yummy appetizers that are sure to not make you miss ordering a full dinner. So fun to try lots of little bites of flavor.

  1. love me some good Happy Hour!!! Thanks Jenet for those awesome suggestions… now I just have to figure out when we can go 🙂

  2. I really like how you took the hype of Old Town Scottsdale bars and created a fun and cheaper alternative to going out. I am a blogger for bars and clubs and Old Town and never even thought to use this alternative. Maybe I will look into more happy hour and cheaper alternatives to old town in the future.

I will also check a few of these places Ive never been to as well for future blog posts.
    Thanks!
