New Kid Friendly Restaurant in Scottsdale!

My husband and I visit the Talking Stick area often. We love going to KTR, Great Wolf Lodge, Matrix and Spring training so we always notice when new restaurants come and go in the area. Unfortunately, many places did not survive the pandemic, and as things move on and open back up, some new hot spots are coming back. We were thrilled to find a new restaurant.

We are not from Arizona so this restaurant is completely new for us but, for those who have been in Phoenix for awhile probably have heard of the ANGRY CRAB SHACK! I was so excited when I saw that this place was being built. There aren’t many kid friendly restaurants in Scottsdale that serve seafood. I was looking forward to a change!

We walked inside and the kids were in awe of all the cool fish, mermaids, and “ocean” décor on the walls. It was fun to walk around to see all the different animals. We got seated at our table and noticed right away the white paper tablecloth. The kids thought it was so cool that they got to color and decorate the table. When we continued to look at the walls, we saw that people signed their names directly on the wall. How fun! You can write your family name and date from your first visit and enjoy finding it every time you return. In the back corner they have live crab and lobster tanks. It was a nice break to go see when the littles need to stretch their legs.

Now let’s talk about the food. While they have a wide variety of seafood (and chicken) available on the menu, they are known for their seafood boils. You can choose from several options of seafood, veggies, and sauces to have in your bag; choose your favorite seasonings and how you would like it cooked and the order is in! Once the meal comes the family gets to wear big lobster bibs and plastic gloves. You then can dump your bucket of food right on the table and go to work cracking the shells and eating the shrimp.

It was so much fun to have new distractions, and a new way to eat dinner. The kids had a blast and we got some great pictures from our night.
