Friday Favorites {Lindsay}

Friday favorites 2Hi Mamas! My name is Lindsay and I have been a desert resident for two years now.  As the heat is upon us, I wanted to offer up a summer themed Friday Favorites.  All things to help you stay cool and keep your cool too. Enjoy!  🙂

Fifty/Fifty Water Bottles: Do you find yourself getting annoyed with your water bottle in the summer months because it is constantly in sweat mode?  These Fifty/Fifty water bottles are amazing. The vacuum insulated bottles keep liquids cold ALL day. I know this because I have filled mine up in the morning and come 3 p.m. there are still hunks of ice cubes keeping my water cool. There is no sweat or condensation from these bottles. The website says that you can use them for hot liquids too, but I would do that with caution.

Supergoop Sunscreen: My husband and I both use Supergoop Sunscreen.  It goes on lightweight and is not greasy. The smell is light and not overpowering. We use it daily and love it. Having sunscreen “on-tap” has helped us incorporate it into our daily routine, which is vital in the Valley of the Sun. Sometimes you can catch a coupon code and order from Birchbox for 20% off.

Essie “Take It Outside” Nail Polish: I know that most people are getting their pedicures done in fun corals and pinks in anticipation of being poolside.  However, I love a good gray neutral polish. I like this particular shade because it is just the right amount of taupey-gray without being a cement color. It is one of my “go-to’s” almost any time of year.

Sweet July Clips: This is for the little ladies in your life. If your daughter has hair like my daughter does, it is thin and baby fine. Clips fall out easily and consistently, which is frustrating as I try to keep her hair from being plastered on her face in the heat. I found out about this Etsy shop from another blogger and have ordered several of these clips now.  They stay put, keep my daughter’s hair out of her face, and they also don’t break or damage her baby fine strands. Insert touchdown emoji hands here.

The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf: I’m not a daily coffee drinker, but occasionally I love a good iced coffee. For a while, Starbucks was all I knew. A wonderful friend recently introduced me to the Iced Vanilla Latte at The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, and I haven’t been able to order one from Starbucks since. It is delicious and it is automatically made low-fat unless you specify otherwise. If you are up for a comparison, you should test it out!

Thanks for following along for my favorites today! Do you have any places or products you want to spread the word about? Share in the comments below!
