Ladies, mark your calendars for March 19 and 20, when WestWorld in Scottsdale plays host to The Mom Made Market Arizona, featuring more than 160 mom made shops, from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. each day. The event will showcase food, onsite craft workshops, yoga classes, entertainment and giveaways, and of course, shopping!
I appreciate (and covet) crafty things, but I was not blessed with a crafty bone in my body. So I love when others bring their crafty goodness to me and I can reap the benefits of their talent. For a sneak peak of the gorgeous items available, peruse their Instagram feed, @themommademarketarizona. The hand poured soy candles from @ellerymaecandleco would make perfect teacher gifts. And what new mother wouldn’t love an organic baby blanket from @LCoGoods? I also am drooling over the handmade leather cuffs from @thecontentcrown. Beautiful, with inspirational engravings, these would make a great surprise treat for my sister or BFF.
While you are shopping at The Mom Made Market, pick up a bouquet of fresh flowers from the @thefloretteaz truck. These ladies will be parked out front in their beautiful blue truck filled with blooms. Fuel up with a coffee from @mamascoldbrew, and tuck into tasty food from a variety of other local vendors.
Tickets go on sale on their website March 1 for $4 per person, or $5 at the door during the event. For every ticket sold, $1 will be donated to Momcology.org, a non profit focused on caring for mothers of children with cancer.
