I love gifts that keep the kids active and playing outside. Micro Kickboard has every age covered from the mini-2-go for as young as 18 months to products for teens and adults. In our house, we LOVE the Micro Mini Scooter. It’s perfect for kids from 3-5 years of age. The three wheels help the younger ones to balance, it’s sturdy and has an easy-to-use break. Those were the factors that were important to me at least. My son, on the other hand, liked that he could (in his words) go really, really fast! They come in several different bright colors and are great for family walks or cruising around at the park.

Contributor Corner: Some of our favorite gifts for {KIDS}

Kim: For my kiddos, I am all about experiences versus gifts, when possible. This year, I bought memberships to the Railroad Park and Arizona Science Center, and also am taking my daughter to the “Frozen on Ice” performance in January.

Courtney: The Phoenix Zoo does a breakfast with the animals each month. I buy my parents and daughter tickets to a few of these events in the spring. I love that they get to create special memories with my gift.

Jessica: We like to get the kids lots of art supplies for gifts. Paper, paints, brushes, stamps, stickers, all of it! Keeps them busy and creative.
