Creativity & Educational {Green Kid Crafts Giveaway}

Green Kid Crafts is a mom-owned company that is helping children to get creative and learn at the same time.

The company puts together wonderful, eco-friendly kits that will keep kids busy for hours, each box is loaded with 3-4 themed activities to keep their minds and hands active.  No last minute trips to Hobby Lobby, no giant jars of leftover glitter, and no confusion. Everything you need comes organized and put together in a box sent right to your doorstep with clear instructions for each project.

Green Kid Crafts is also a certified carbon neutral company as well as Green America Approved.

We recently received one of these great boxes to try out and my son could not wait to work on his “projects” each day.

We were both excited to receive the Dinosaur Kit in the mail, the little guy can’t get enough when it comes to learning about dinosaurs and I love to listen to a 3 year old try to say complicated words like Brachiosaurus. Each project comes in a separate bag with all of the necessary supplies, many of them recycled materials and clearly labeled instructions with pictures.

I love that everything is portioned out so there isn’t a lot of waste.

The activities are geared for children ages 3-10 in order to foster independence, creativity, and work on their developmental skills.

My son is on the younger end so he needed more guidance going through the steps but an older child would certainly enjoy doing the same projects independently. The activities are designed by moms, teachers, and STEM experts not only to allow children to explore their creative side, but to get them thinking and questioning about the world around them. The teacher in me appreciates this attention to learning in each box. Green Kid Crafts focuses a lot of their boxes around STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) and each activity comes with facts and information for the kids to talk about while they are creating.

Subscribers also have access to extra activities and information online to continue the fun.

Most importantly, we had a GREAT time with Green Kid Crafts.

All of the activities were engaging and creative. My son got to learn about fossils while making fossils and we talked about dinosaur eggs while hatching a dinosaur egg, these are things I never would have come up with on my own and enriched my son’s love of all things dinosaur.

Green Kid Crafts is a wonderful option for keeping kids busy this summer, check out their website to order an individual discovery box, a creativity kit, or better yet subscribe to their service and have a new box automatically delivered right to your house every month!

  1. my son has way too long of a summer vacation and I’m going to lose it if we don’t have every craft/activity/outing/food known to man to entertain. Looooooong summer.
