Last month I got the opportunity to test out the Kids U Konserve Round Nesting Trio Containers. These steel containers are non-toxic and non-leaching and can be used for just about everything!
As a pretty green-minded mama, I don’t like having plastic containers lying around. All of the containers I take to work are glass, but as my toddler is about to start another daycare (one where I have to pack her lunch daily), I was hunting for something a little more kid friendly. These are the perfect solution! Small enough to fit into her cute lunch box, but roomy enough to pack her a few options.
As far as washing goes—the steel part is dishwasher safe (top rack), however it is recommended the lids stay away from high temperatures—like microwaves and dishwashers. They are extremely easy to hand wash since I will be using them day after day anyway, and I loved that there were no tricky edges or crevices that made them hard to clean.
They store easily as well—since they nest into each other, they hardly take up any cabinet space.
I am always a fan of finding ways to eliminate unnecessary waste, so all-in-all these were a win. A quick visit to their website shows a ton of other fun and food-safe products. I’m loving the Food Kozy® Wraps (My husband takes chips to work every day—we could probably prepackage them for the whole week and be set!) and the Stainless Steel Straws since I tend to meet my daily water requirement a lot faster when using a straw! I highly recommend checking them out!
