Mamas, who needs a massage?! Enough said, right?

I was given the chance to try out a massage from Scottsdale Massage Envy Spa and, well, they did not disappoint. There is a lovely waiting area that is quiet and serene and oh so zen. A far cry from the chaos that was crying out to me as I pulled out of the driveway of my home. I was quickly offered water while I waited to meet my massage therapist. After filling out a brief bit of paperwork my therapist greeted me by name and called me “Ms. Tracy” throughout our time together. I thought this was a lovely touch. You can choose from a variety of types of massages and my therapist checked in with me occasionally throughout the massage to make sure her touch was neither too firm or too soft.

I was especially impressed when I told her that I was a runner and she then immediately gave special attention to my calves, feet and ankles. She knew her stuff and did not disappoint.

As in all spa appointments, mine came to a close all too quickly but thanks to the ease of Massage Envy’s appointment variety and monthly options I hope to be back very soon. They did offer me a membership at the end as they do have discounted rates on monthly massages but I politely declined and there was never another mention or push for me to buy more services.

My time at Massage Envy was absolutely wonderful and I am excited to offer one lucky reader the same experience! Massage Envy knows that a mama needs a break every once in a while and they have generously partnered with us to give one lucky winner an hour long massage at a Phoenix Massage Envy location of their choosing (and there are so many great locations all across the valley)!

  7. I would love to just get the basic sweedish. I was actually looking at their site the other. I almost went down there at 9 at night. My daughter just leapt, all of a sudden, into the terrible 2s. It’s worse than people say.

    If I was to win a free massage I would absolutely choose the deep tissue massage because it relieves tension! And boy do I have Lot of tension lately! My wedding is in 11 days and I’m completely stressed out about it!

  24. I am dreaming of a Prenatal massage! I would be perfect given I’m packing my house to move while I’m 23 weeks along and chasing a toddler! Did I say dreaming????

  32. The type of massage I would choose would be a mixture of Swedish and Deep Tissue. I would like a mix of relaxation as well as working knots out of target areas.
