Dream Dinners GIVEAWAY | Easy (and healthy) Family Meals

15

I love to cook.

So much so that it’s pretty safe to say that my second favorite day of the month is when my Cooking Light comes in the mail.  And of course my most favorite day of the month is when we have the Scottsdale Cooking Club 😉

However, I’m a mom – I’m not perfect.  Although I do love to cook, there are often a couple days of the week that my love for cooking just doesn’t translate into a good home cooked meal on the table at 6 pm.  Let’s just say that we have taste-tested enough frozen pizzas to have a Top 3 Frozen Pizzas List in our home.  Not kidding.

Thankfully there are local businesses like Dream Dinners that come to my rescue on days like these.

A group of Scottsdale Moms Blog moms spent last Wednesday learning about Dream Dinners, making our own 3-serving dishes to bring home and of course sampling their yummy food.

Ladies – I’m hear to tell you that Dream Dinners might very well be one of the biggest assets to a mom’s life (and sanity).  For around $15 for a 3-serving meal and $30 for a 6-serving meal attendee’s are able to make their own meals with much less stress and 2x the fun (especially if you bring a friend).

I walked out of Dream Dinners with a scrumptious meal in my hand and new confidence in my ability to be a mom AND cook at the same time.

But don’t just take my word for it.  You’re invited to the Dream Dinners Make and Take Event. To celebrate “National Family Day: A Day to Eat Dinner with Your Children” you are able to come to Dream Dinners and make a 3-serving dinner for $5 or a 6-serving dinner for $10 (that’s a HUGE savings). Join Dream Dinners Wednesday, September 21st from 6pm-8pm. Stop in and check it out yourself. Grab a friend and make it a girls night out!

RSVP TODAY by calling Dream Dinners at 623-581-5192 (North Phoenix location) or 480-704-5312 (Ahwatukee location).

And that’s not all!

  1. I have a super picky eater that also doesn’t like to feed herself all that much. There are very few things that she will eat every time its made. This poses a big problem during breakfast lunch and dinner time! Also, I work 12 hour shifts 3 days a week so I can’t cook those days

  2. My husband always cooks because I am not the best cook….I would like to win so he could maybe have a couple good meals AND get a break from being the nightly cook :).

  3. So, every time I step into the kitchen, I get sweaty palms and start to panic. I am SO uncomfortable in the kitchen and it seems like it comes so easily to other people! I wish it came more naturally to me but thankfully my husband is a great cook and enjoys it. It’s my job to keep the pantry & fridge full so he has options!

  4. My current dilemma is that well, I just can’t get my pregnant hinney off the couch to make anything that isn’t prepackaged or pre-prepared. It’s been 16 weeks now, and I still can’t look at a pound of raw chicken or take a knife to an onion! Would LOVE to gift my family a delish home-cooked meal!

  5. I work evenings now so I have to either make dinner before I leave or take something out of the freezer that is EASY! This would be great 🙂

  6. I have two picky eaters. My older one is getting better with the help of reward sticker chart. But my I-will-eat-anything-you-give-me little man turned to one of the pickiest eaters as soon as his second birthday arrived. Food in our house can’t touch-compartment plates have been my rescue..forget casseroles. Even though they might like all that goes into a one pot dish they will not eat it unless each food group is separated…so it is very easy for me to get stuck and just cook what I kow they will eat. It would be great to have some out of the box options 🙂
